Bantry, County Cork, Ireland
Bantry is a busy, bustling and colourful Irish market-town at the head of the famous and beautiful Bantry Bay, in the far south west of Ireland.

Bantry is at the heart of West Cork, one of the most naturally beautiful and unspoiled areas of Ireland, full of beautiful bays and beaches, spectacular hills and welcoming hostelries.

For the best in Irish walking, cycling, and fishing, or for just relaxing in convivial company, Bantry and the south-west of Ireland offers everything you could want.

The Hutchinson family built a mansion on the shore of Bantry Bay c 1740. The house was enlarged in 1765 by the White family.

Many treasures can be viewed, an extensive art collection and tapestries. Guided tours and tea rooms from March to October.
